Clothing Rip:
An attack designed to anger and humiliate an opponent. Usually the attacker gets a grip of a corner, a pocket, or handful of the material and pulls or allows the push and shoves of fighting to cause the rip. The attacker suffers a +35 penalty to the to hit roll and then if successful must make a STR roll to tear the fabric of the clothing, success causing a tear to the outermost clothing worn by the victim. If the victim has cloth armour or extra tough clothing then this attack only succeeds on a Critical success but with normal effects.

The size of the tear or rip is relative to the success of the roll modified by the material of the clothing. As a default for each 10 difference of roll to STR Rating assume 1D3 inches of cloth has been ripped. Failures mean the victim gets a free quick or single strike at the attacker as they are concentrating on the clothing rip attack.

Critical fails result in the attacker failing to rip the cloth but instead tearing their fingernails or damaging their fingers in the attempt causing a Level 1 Wound to one or more fingers.

Critical success means the rip has been on an important part of the clothing and either destroys the clothing or else cause other side effects, such as pocket contents spilling or the victim must make a Save Vs Paralysis roll or becomes either distracted (gains +20 to initiative for the next round) or angry (all attacks suffer +5 penalty for 1D4 rounds). Critical success on cloth armour or extra tough clothing counts as being 1 only.
