Nail Slash:
An attack that causes little severe damage but leaves a mark that will take a long time to leave, even once healed. The attacker can only attempt this attack if they have fingernails (or possibly toenails?) that have some length beyond the end of the digit. This attack is a common attack performed by women. The attack has a +10 penalty to the hit roll, but if successful does a Level 1-2 Wound across the face of the victim. The damage is light but its hit location causes a searing pain, causing the victim to make an immediate Save Vs Hitting or recoil in surprise, losing any attacks this round and suffering a +3 penalty to all attacks for the next 1D4 rounds until the stinging stops.

Critical success mean a critical location has been struck, such as an eye or nose etc. This doubles the penalty to +6 for all attacks for the next 1D4 rounds.

Failure means a near miss. Critical fails mean the attacker misses and instead rakes their nails over the victim's clothing or armour, taking a Level 1 Wound to their digits as they snag them. This also causes them to suffer a +10 penalty to their next Initiative roll.
