40. ACCOUNTING
The ability to efficiently keep account of, inspect and audit monies
and or other items. This skill enables characters to ensure all
financial records are collated, correlated, instigate, up-date and
amend numeric records, correct, find any faults in the accounts and
their possible causes, spot any fraudulent attempts, and make sure the
accounts are recorded in a way that is accessable, at least to another
accountant. Knowledge of handling accounts and linked with Law gives
the ability to determine quickly if an account has been unlawfully
executed. Also gives administration skills associated with this skill
only. Linked with Law, Business, Espionage, Bureaucracy, Economics,
Mathematics (High), Agriculture, Farming. The account records may be
subject to inspection by authorities and so usually must have a
standardised foremat for that location, timeline, and tech level.
