FARMING:

The ability to farm either livestock or grow crops. Give knowledge of how to care and reap the rewards of caring for the produce of the farm. The Tech-Level can influence the level of the skill and form of the farming. I.e. Low-Tech generally know how to herd, slaughter, or reap and sow. Whilst High-Tech know how to artificially fertilise, battery farm, hydrofarm, genetically modify crops or animals etc.

The skill Rating determines the general knowledge and experience as well as insights relating to that type of farming only. An individual skill must be taken for each different kind of farm and its produce.

Short term use of this skill is theoretical only and is knowledge based. Long term use of this skill is seasonal (modifiers will apply i.e. weather, climate, location, help etc.) and is physical in nature representing actual farming being carried out.

RATING = 1-39
Success shows produce was satisfactory and Rating x (difference of Rating to roll ÷10) + (Business success difference ÷10) + Tech-Level mod + Farm Size mod = monies gained from that years success.
Failure shows produce was unsatisfactory 100 -(difference of Rating to roll) - Rating ÷10 + Tech-Level mod + Farm Size mod = monies gained from that years success.

RATING = 40-65
Success shows produce was satisfactory and Rating x (difference of Rating to roll ÷5) + (Business success difference ÷10) + Tech-Level mod + Farm Size mod = monies gained from that years success.
Failure shows produce was unsatisfactory 100 -(difference of Rating to roll) - Rating ÷10 + Tech-Level mod + Farm Size mod = monies gained from that years success.
