TACTICS

Tactics is the method used to gain an advantage of a specific target, in any given situation, using the resources available at the time. Primarily it is considered to apply to combat and military situations, but Tactics can also apply to games, sports, or even business. It can be Linked to Business, Sport (specifed), Gambling, or Trivia (specifically certain games such as chess, card games, or other boardgames that do not rely entirely on chance in order to succeed).

When the Tactics skill is used to achieve a goal, the DM rolls and the difference of roll to Rating determines the bonuses (or penalties) gained to distribute among the relevant skills needed to achieve that goal.

No bonuses and at least one facet of Tactics is flawed
+1 = roll is a fail, and this is by how much the roll is over the rating.
All bonuses are minimum of 1.

It can also be used to guide the choices made by the user of this skill. In this use the player rolls and describes to the DM their tactics and the DM (dependent upon the result of the Tactics roll) can advise which parts may or may not work and if a criitical success is gained even what the outcome could be in terms of casualties, losses, gaines, or other targets the tactics are trying to achieve.
