39. THROW OBJECT (sp)
Skill in throwing objects is a combination of dexterity, strength and technique as well as Sight sense. This skill is not used for combat or throwing items to do harm, but can be the basis for those skills. A thrower can not throw an object heavier than their Lift result. Range is dependent upon skill result, weight of object, aerodynamics of object thrown and environmental conditions. Specialities may be taken once base skill reaches 25%. A new speciality may then be taken as wished using the base skill XP on the speciality. Specialities gain XP in the normal way.

Default:
DEX - 10 for each 5lbs of object weight + modifiers from the table below.

Skilled default:
DEX - 5 for each 5lbs of object weight + (Rating ÷ 10) + modifiers from the table below.

Critical success indicates exact target hit as wanted.
Critical failure indicates either object is lost, damaged, hit the wrong target or target is damaged whichever most appropriate for the failure.
