There are nearly a hundred Blue wizards in the order, but the number frequently changes, just a little. The Blue Wizard Order is a confident but unappreciated Order, at least in their view. Although quite large, it does not yet have enough influence throughout the Lands Of Law.
Blue wizards are generally calm, collective and determined, but not stubborn. The Order is resourceful and easily shares its powers and discoveries with its members. Hierarchy within the Order is equal among all members, it promotes equality and collectivity. This encourages members to share their findings with each other and it is often said, "Even the Acolyte be a Sage". It is fairly secretive when dealing with outside Orders and other organizations, but has many connections with which it keeps an eye on the goings on of society, Manc research and the events of the world.

The Blue Wizards have an agreement with Feldmore. In return for the order hosting their glaive in Feldmore, although it is rumoured they have a secret glaive in other places also, the Blue Order supplies wizards for the Feldmore Flotilla. Each of the ships in the Feldmore Flotilla has a Blue wizard on board to aid in any way they can. Only Acolytes and Forwards are allowed to serve on board and Acolytes are trained specifically for the task in Navigation, Sailing, River Lore, Mapping, Knots, Timekeeping, Weather Forcasting and Swimming. Those Acolyte Mancers chosen, or those who volunteer, begin their training in the glaive for three Dodecates and then attend the Feldmore Flotilla Enclosure to learn these tasks. This means their normal Mancery is slowed because of this extra learning, and thus once their service of three Dodecates with the ships is over they are not allowed any missions or travel, in order to concentrate on their research and study. Sometimes a trained and experienced sailor is discovered to have a gift for Mancery and if they wish may join the Blue Order and they have a speeded training period because of their skills. It has once been allowed for Blue wizards to become Captains of some of the ships, but since the turn of the last Pentacade this has been stopped and Feldmore Flotilla trained personnel are used instead. Blue wizards onboard take orders only and directly from the vessels Captain. The Blue Order also aids Feldmore in its defenses as this is a mutual benefit.
