Darkness, blindness, and other forms of sensory dampening can be dangerous or just inconvenient. Heat Sense gives the user the ability to see in a heat-governed spectrum the locaility around them. For thirty feet they can see the heat of all objects around them. Not the same as Nightvision, this Manc overlaps the user's normal vision so that they may see in either fashion as they wish. If used on a hot day, its effects are slightly lessened in the hotter ranges. Likewise, if used on a cold night the colder ranges are slightly lessened, and in similar corresponding environments. Beyond the range of 30 feet nothing can be seen while using the Heat Sense.

This Manc can show recent passing of beings that may have warm footprints, or breath, it can show areas that something has been left so that the sun has not warmed below it, or something that has been in the shade suddenly exposed to warmer temepratures. It allows almost normal passage through deep underground tunnels and through forests where the temperature ranges are fairly constant and distinct.

Those users that do not have sight can still utilise this Manc, for in those users it gives another form of heat sense. Creatures that live by smell can instead smell differing temperatures. Those that live by hearing can determine the slight vibrations given off as varied hums and whines as differentiated by the temperatures. Touch-sensitive creatures can feel the differing temepratures far more acutely than normal. However, should a creature have sight naturally, but has somehow lost the ability to see, this Manc gives them an almost ghostly sight of temperatures, as if they can see, albeit poorly. The scroll works on those who would normally be within hearing range, even if they are now totally deaf.

This Manc also allows users to see differing temperature fluctuations in individuals and if they have the wisdom, they may be able to determine other's minor changes in facial temeprature, or bodily functions to aid in determining attraction, deceit, shame, or injury and illness.

This Manc does not give the user the ability to see auras or Manc unless temeprature is a part of its make-up. The user may cancel this Manc at will. Banish Manc and Restoration will negate this Manc upon a target. Infravision can not penetrate the Manc of Darkness, but can see through elemental darkness unless it is uniformally one temperature, in which instant they will see the appropriate temperature colour, but like an impenetrable fog of the colour.
