To control others, either through guile, or manipulation can be a useful tactic. To be able to control a victim totally is even more useful. When this Manc is cast upon a victim, the Victim must make a Save Vs Manc or become entranced, their mind becomes still and open like a blank book. While the Duration is active the victim under this Manc will obey any command given them by the user of this Manc, and answer any question posed to them by the user. All the while they remain in a trance-like state.
The user can ask any question, and command the victim to answer questions by others, but they must both have the language, and the victim will answer literally, as their mind has no personality or own thought. The user can also ask the victim to perform some task and the victim will do so, but again literally. The victim will get a Save Vs Paralyse every time the action they have been commanded to follow endangers their life. Success means the victim breaks free of the Manc. Unlike Hypnotism, the victim builds no immunity to this Manc from the same user and unless the Save Vs Manc upon casting is successful, the victim will time and again be under its influence.
The victim can not perform any task they are not able to, unless they are unaware they are able to. For example, a victim who is normally scared of heights could not climb a tree, but this Manc will make them do so if they are physically able to. Mind Control does not aid the victim in learning, and even though while under the Duration they can perfectly repeat whole passages from a book if read to and told to remember it, once the Duration ends they can not then recall it, unless they already knew it.
Banish Manc has no effect upon a victim of this Manc, however, Restoration and Free Movement does negate this Manc.
Spell Casting:-
The spell has its range detailed on the table, but
can also be used to touch the victim to activate and in doing so the
victim's Save Vs Manc is -1. Spontaneous casting without vocals or
gestures raises the Power Level by +1. Mind Casting (neither vocals nor
gestures) raises the Power Level by +2.

The wand and staff both have their ranges detailed on the table, but can also be used to touch the victim to activate and in doing so the victim's Save Vs Manc is -1.
The scroll works on all those within hearing of the user and who fail their Save Vs Manc.
