This Manc causes victims to move slowly, not just in their own actions but slow in relating with the normal world also. A victim whom is slowed suddenly, if they fail a Save Vs Manc, becomes slow in all their movements, their thoughts, and the world as it effects them only. Their speed is considered that of a snails. If they run, they still move more slowly than a normal person walking, but not only will they cover very little distance in the Duration, but also as they lift both feet off the ground running, they seem to the observer to float, or levitate, but it is just their own world that is moving more slowly, and so they seem to be able to remain in the air for longer than is normal.

If someone should happen to collide with them, or they bump into an object as they move, they will react as if they struck the obstruction at normal speed, but the object or person struck will feel little more than a light touch, and could easily move out of the way.

When the Duration ends the victim instantly continues to obey the normal world around them. So if they were running, or jumping, or falling, they would suddenly be running at full speed, or leaping or falling normally. The victim is aware they have been moving slowly, but despite all their efforts their bodies reactions are slowed. By default, a victim of Slow moves at 10th the normal speed of movement. (So, if it takes a normal person 1 Round to mount a pez, it would take the victim of Slow 10 Rounds to mount the pez.) This speed can be altered by increasing the Power Levels by 2. This slows the victim to one-20th normal speed. (So, if it takes a normal person 1 Round to mount a pez, it would take the victim of this altered Slow 20 Rounds to mount the pez.)

The Duration of Slow is variable and dependent upon the Level of the caster (or creator). By default, it lasts in Rounds equal to the caster/creator's Level x2. This time may be doubled by increasing the Power Level by 2, to a maximum of +4 Power Levels. (I.e. a Level 2 Mancer's Slow Duration is 4 Rounds, by adding +2 Power Levels this increases to 8 Rounds, by adding a further +2 Power Levels this increases to 16 Rounds).

Should the victim drop an item they are holding, once the item has left their grasp it will then move normally as it has left the field of Slow affecting the victim. Should the caster increase the Power Levels by 2 (this would be cumulative if the speed of movement was also altered as already described), then items the victim was carrying when the Slow was cast upon them, still react to the Manc effect once they have lost contact with the victim. This can stop arrows from causing too much damage from a Slowed victim firing a bow, for example. However, should the slowed arrow actually hit a target that could not move, then if it would penetrate, it will still do so, but at a much slower rate.

Poisons and such effect the victim at the slowed rate, thus possibly giving a chance to negate even an instant poison on the victim of this Manc. Naturally very fast creatures that have this Manc cast upon them, may still move quite fast, even with this Slow Manc.

Slow negates Quicken and Swift, and thus Slow is negated by them. Slow is also negated by Banish Manc and Free Movement. This Manc may be dispelled as wished by the user, if the user has Manc ability and is of equal Level than the creator of the item being used.

Item Creation:-

The Whip must be used to strike the victim. It need not injure them, but must touch them, however lightly.

The scroll centers on the user, and creates a field in which anything entering is effected by the Slow. This sphere around the user lasts for Rounds equal to the Level of the creator. The user can dispel the sphere at any time they wish, but once dispelled can not be raised without an other use of this Manc. Anything caught in the sphere is effected for the length of the Duration, regardless of the sphere around the user of the scroll.
