Fashion or pragmatism may demand a hat. For fashion it is what is
popular among the crowd currently being interacted with. Where one
city's style may be grandiose, large and floppy hats, this may not be
fitting for that of a small, rural farming community. Pragmatism is the
most common cause for finding a hat necessary. Usually it is
envrionmental or while preforming some task that makes the hat useful.
They come in a myriad of forms, styles, sizes, colours, and uses.
Assume whatever type of hat is wished may be made by a milliner,
tailor, leatherworker, and such, for a price and given the materials
and time. Otherwise only bespoke stock items will be available, usually
caps, sun hats, wool hats, and the like.
