Clerics

Parsons:

Parsons are All-Kal clerics who can not use Manc or chose not to, and train as a cleric. They follow the same Level progression as the other Manc-abled clerics, but do not gain any Manc-related bonuses or penalties. They can Turn and gain any appropriate bonuses for such. They may be stationed at small, safe locations.

Clerics [1-3]:

These levels of cleric is the most commonly encountered throughout the lands. They may be taught by a higher-Level cleric or Priest. They are considered the fully-trained blessed workers of the religion, and many go no further than third Level in their lifetimes.

Priests [4-6]:

Ordained at the Cathedral or the High Church in Acandria, or at Feldmore High Church. These are the governing body of the religion of Alla-Kal, revered among the clergy. they are usually wise and learned, often clerics who have gone through some great task or ordeal, and are considered knowledgeable in their particular fields.

After their blessing in the High Church or Cathedral, the priest may be blessed by Meter if she sees fit, by bestowing upon them a plant or animal lore (13% chance of either, choose one, if successful then no further attempt is made, however, if unsuccessful, then an attempt at the second one may be made. Also there is a chance if neither of the two lores are given, then nature lore may be given instead (3% chance).

High Priests [7-8]:

These are far rarer, wiser and usually much older than any priest. Powerful in their Manc and faith, ordained only in the High Church or Cathedral in Acandria, these wise clergy are often based in important cities only and other clergy, including priests, must come to them for guidance. They oversee the running of the religion and are the only ones who can pass amendments to the holy scriptures of the religion.

The table below represents the table for the Alla-Kal religion.
